Henley Liberal Democrat Campaign HQ at 9 Bertie Road, Thame - for directions and other information see www.henleylibdems.org.uk/henleyhq/

Liberal Democrat members across Oxfordshire are being asked to join the campaign team for the Liberal Democrats at the Henley by-election which has now been confirmed for the 26th June. Lib Dem candidate Stephen Kearney and a big team is fighting to win in the seat, which would fall to the Party if we can achieve the same swing as in Bromley 2 years ago.

The HQ at 9 Bertie Road (off Wenman Road), Thame is only around 20 minutes drive from Oxford and various people have already been, and are going again. If you would like to go, and would like to either offer or have a lift, please contact info@oxwablibdems.org.uk and we'll put in touch with others. Or the 280 bus from Oxford Railway Station/Headington takes you to within 10 minutes of the HQ.

A Parliamentary by-election has a real "buzz" - take our local election campaign last year, set it in a huge warehouse office, multiple by 3 and throw in a few hundred helpers each weekend to give yourself an idea!

There's a wide range of jobs to choose from, and whatever you choose to do will help the campaign enormously. We have jobs to suit everyone - young or old, fit or not!

We have well mapped delivery walks for some of the most scenic places in the country, and canvass teams going out every day to go knocking on doors, finding out which Party people plan to support in the by-election.

There are indoors jobs too, for those who don't enjoy or have difficulty walking. We have a great team who stuff letters, address envelopes, put sticky tape onto posters ready for people to take, and label our leaflets - if you don't get out on the streets, we'd still be pleased to see you.

And if you don't feel able to get to Henley but could spare a few hours from home, there is also phone canvassing available, with full instructions. To get your pack to help the campaign, email your name, address and contact phone number to info@henleylibdems.org.uk and you'll receive a phone canvass pack within a few hours.

I do hope you will help Stephen Kearney's campaign in Henley. Full details of where the HQ is and how to get to it by car or public transport are at www.henleylibdems.org.uk/henleyhq/
